Why is digital accessibility important?

With the European Accessibility Act enforcement deadline fast approaching on June 28, 2025, organisations across Europe—and any company doing business in the EU—must ensure their digital products are accessible to people with disabilities.

At the same time, accessibility isn’t just about compliance—it’s about creating better experiences for everyone. Designing with accessibility in mind means removing barriers, improving usability and ensuring that digital products work for people of all abilities. Read more.

What are the admissions criteria?

A basic knowledge of UX principles is required for anyone taking this course. The course is designed for UX, UI and Product Designers who are comfortable using Figma or another design tool. Product Managers and Owners with a basic understanding of UX are also welcome.

How is the course structured?

Each of the five modules is delivered entirely online, so you can complete the course at your own pace. You’ll have access to the course for 3 months.

Will there be an assessment?

Yes, to earn your certificate, you must complete all lessons and pass the final assessment. The 40-minute online test can be taken on your computer anytime, anywhere.

Is the course recognised internationally?

The UK higher education system is internationally renowned for its excellent standards. All our courses are credit-rated by Glasgow Caledonian University, a highly-rated UK university.
